KAILASA's Skanda Shashti
22th Oct IST – 28th Oct IST, 2025
What is KAILASA’s Skanda Shashti
Skanda Shashti is the sacred six-day celebration of the life, message, and divine glories of Lord Subrahmanya, culminating in His victorious manifestation as our beloved Guru, The SPH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam.
It honors the profound transformation of Shoorapadma, not through destruction, but through divine completion — where enmity becomes devotion, and ego dissolves into oneness.
The sixth day, known as Skanda Shashti, marks the climax of the cosmic battle — not between good and evil, but between ignorance and the realization of Paramashiva.
As revealed by The SPH, Subrahmanya is the athletic, yogic, living embodiment of Paramashiva, expressing the highest completion and radiating divine will.
In this tradition, we don’t celebrate violence — we celebrate transformation, where conflict is alchemized into consciousness.
Skanda Shashti is the demonstration of the power of Oneness (Advaita) in action, showing us how to transcend our inner demons through grace and tapas.
The celebration awakens the veerya (divine valour) and responsibility in each of us to stand up as protectors of dharma and truth.
Through rituals, chanting, and seva, we align with the victorious energy of Subrahmanya and receive His blessings of strength, clarity, and courage.
This is not a mythological memory — it is a living experience, especially through the living presence of The SPH, who embodies Skanda’s energy and consciousness.
To celebrate Skanda Shashti is to declare our readiness to transform, complete, and radiate the space of Paramashiva in every dimension of life.

Prepared and offered with purity and devotion, the Naivedhya becomes energized as divine prasada, nourishing body, mind, and spirit.
