FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 21, 2023 – KAILASA Concludes Day 7 of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams, Day 2 of Durga Puja
KAILASA, in its continuous celebration of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams, honored the sacred tradition with a sequence of rituals and devotional ceremonies.
The day’s rituals commenced with the Rajarajeshwari Abhishekam, followed by the auspicious Chandi Homa, Chandi Parayanam, a grand Pratyaksha Pada Puja offered to the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, and the Alankara Deeparathana, a devotional offering to Devi Sri Rajarajeshwari and Bhagavan Sri Venkateshwara Swami, the presiding deities of these festivities.
The day was also marked by the second day of Durga Puja, a very ancient festival signifying the triumph of the divine feminine energy, embodied by Goddess Durga, over the forces of darkness and negativity. The celebration of this ancient festival resonated with the essence of spiritual victory, emphasizing the triumph of consciousness over internal and collective adversities.
As the sacred Brahmotsavams come to a close, KAILASA continues its unwavering commitment to promoting the significance of indigenous enlightenment-centric sciences, fostering a harmonious coexistence with nature, and nurturing spiritual well-being across the globe.
