Introduction to KAILASA's Pacchai Pattini Vratham
Mahamari Amman represents the self-purification of the entire Prakriti.
The water element from the ocean is purified by the fire element from the sun, transforming into clouds and showering as rain. This rain purifies the earth and the air space, making it the ultimate purifier. Mahamari, Parashakti represents the self-purification of the entire Prakriti or nature. Fasting is a purifying process for every individual.
During the Vratham period every year, Mahamari, Parashakti, Prakriti – She Herself observes this Pacchai Pattini Vratham, thereby purifying not only the entire Prakriti but also offering us the opportunity to purify ourselves along with Her.
The Pacchai Pattini Vratham is specially designed to
- Spiritually heal our physical and psychological ailments,
- Help clear out all toxins and blockages from our system,
- Strengthen our immune system to effectively fight off diseases,
- Relieve all our stress, anxiety, and mental tension,
- Receive the blessings of the Goddess to stay protected from all diseases.
By observing this Pacchai Pattini Vratham, we create a space for Paramashiva and Paramashivashakti to manifest in our bodies. When they manifest, they spiritually heal the whole world, and we are ultimately prepared to receive the science of immortality.
In the words of THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, ‘Langanam Parama Aushadam’ — Fasting is the best medicine. Fasting not only detoxifies our body and mind, but it also has the power to digest our karmas.
